Acer Swift 3 Core i5 8th Gen (SF314-55G ) is an amazing laptop for the price.

Performance: It comes with 512gb m.2 SSD, 8GB DDR4 ram, and the whiskey lake i5 8265u, so there are no issues with performance. Also it comes with mx250 2gb graphics which can run games fine at low-medium settings.

Build quality: It is all aluminum, thin and lightweight. The ram is soldered so it can’t be further upgraded but 8gb ram will be fine for most users especially students like me.

Keyboard: It’s a backlit keyboard and the key spacing is adequate. Only complaint about the keyboard is its layout. But when you get used to it, it works like a charm. It also has Microsoft precision drivers if anyone was wondering.

Display: The display is amazing, viewing angles are great, colours are natural. It’s a matte display. In most of the conditions the IPS panel provided here works fine. The bezels here are thin too with a not so thin chin.
